Louise Lefkovits : Artist. Educator. Friend.
August 16, 1953 - April 2, 2025

Louise Lefkovits was a gifted artist and a beloved participant of Fall for Art for 27 years, where she also served on the events committee. Her striking collages were treasured by many, and she shared her passion as a dedicated teacher in local schools. An avid gardener, animal lover, and world traveler, Louise will be remembered for her creativity, humor, and the deep love she had for her family and friends.

Fall for Art began in 1996 as a juried art show, sale, cocktail reception and community fundraiser featuring dozens of the Hudson Valley’s most gifted artists.

Proceeds from this popular event benefited the participating artists, federation and Angel Food East, Circle of Friends for the Dying, Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, Jewish Family Services, Oncology Support Program, MyKingstonKids, People's Place, and R.Y.A.N. House.
