Award winning Kingston artist Bruce Bundock has lived and worked in the Hudson Valley since 1979. His art is situated in the realist tradition, drawing inspiration from three geographic locations: The Hudson Valley, Maine, and Cape Cod. He received his M.A. from SUNY Empire State College, and his B.F.A. from Maryland Institute, College of Art. Additional studies include Silvermine College of Art, Artists for Environment Foundation, Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies, and Williamstown Art Conservation Center.
Selected exhibitions have included The National Academy of Design, Muscarelle Museum of Art, Vassar College, Brigham Young University, Schenectady Museum, Albany Institute of History and Art, Windham Fine Arts, Dutchess Community College, the Arnot Museum, the Hyde Collection, the Arkell Museum, Marist College, Brigham Young University and SUNY Empire State College. His work is in public and private collections.
