Fay Biegun has been inspired by the writings of Joseph Campbell and other great thinkers who explore the human need for answers about the universe and the desire to be part of a larger entity than oneself. She uses universal symbols and abstract imagery to depict archetypes. This allows the viewer to formulate his/her own ideas about a subject using hints provided by the artist. Her compositions can stand alone from her initial inspiration being dynamic and colorful, filled with energy, light and movement.
Biegun has a BFA from Pratt Institute in painting and graphics and a Certificate of Graduation from Parsons School of Design. She is a member of the National Association of Women Artists (2015-present,) Woodstock Artists Association and Museum (2018-present.) She is currently exhibiting with the Artist Collaborative of Hyde Park, New York, and with online galleries such as Saatchi and FineArtAmerica.
