My work is always inspired by nature, but a few years ago I began a series of abstract paintings and monotypes dedicated to honoring environmentally-challenged regions of the planet. This piece is one of several in homage to the melting glaciers of Iceland, that, due to global warming are fast disappearing, raising water levels and wreaking havoc on our environment.
