Terra Infirma/Ashokan Study II
$950.00
My work is always inspired by nature, but a few years ago I began a series of abstract paintings and monotypes (Terra Infirma) dedicated to honoring environmentally-challenged regions of the planet. This piece is one of several in homage to the region I live in—West Shokan—a town that sacrificed many of its buildings, farms and orchards to create the Ashokan reservoir, which provides water for the New York Metropolitan area.

- Professionally framed in black metal, 22″ x 25″
