Jewish Federation of Ulster County
Established in 1978, the Ulster County Jewish Federation is one of 155 Jewish Federations and 400 independent communities across North America affiliated with the Jewish Federation of North America. As a local umbrella organization, it brings affiliated and non-affiliated Jews together on issues of common concern.
A non-profit organization, Federation provides cultural, social service and educational programming and raises funds to aid Jews locally, nationally and globally. Jewish Federation provides the thread that links our traditions from past generations to the future. It serves as a bridge to a variety of Jewish organizations and synagogues in Ulster County. The proceeds from Fall for Art are used for these causes, as well as serving the entire community.
Included in the programs that benefit from Fall for Art are: Angel Food East, area High School scholarships, CASA, Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, Family of Woodstock, Hillel at SUNY New Paltz, Jewish Family Services, Queen’s Galley, and People’s Place.
